Annual Checkup
Two reliable links to answer all your questions about Annual Checkup;
Since your child is born, contact our office to arrange regular visit and immunization scheduling for your kid.
Generally, these are the schedule for your regular visit for your child since birth;
2-7 day age. For first visit after birth.
One month age; Optional visit.
2 months age; First vaccinations.
4 months age; Second vaccinations
6 months age; Third vaccinations.
9 months age; Regular check up without vaccination.
12 months; 3 vaccines including MMR
15 months; Varicella vaccine
18 months; Full check up with one vaccine
24 months; 2 years old visit
then every year until adulthood.
For female under age 50;
Females; generally need to do Pap Smear test every 3 years, starting age 21 until age 74. In some conditions this time varies.
If you are past due for your regular check up, please call our office and arrange to do Pap Smear in our office by my Nurse Practitioner.

For female over age of 50, in addition to do pap smear every 3 years until age of 74, you also need;
Mammogram every 2 years until age of 75.
Colon Cancer Screening (stool test every 2 years or Colonoscopy every 5-10 years) until age of 75.
If there is family history of Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Colon Cancer, you may need to do your screening sooner. Please contact your doctor.
In some conditions and exceptions this varies. Contact your doctor.

For healthy male under age of 50, you need to see me every 2-3 years for check up, unless there is a medical condition that needs to be checked more often.
If you are over age of 50, you need to do Colon Cancer Screening with stool test (Fit Test) every 2 years or Colonoscopy every 5-10 years.
If there is family history of Colon Cancer, you need to start your screening sooner. Please contact our office.
For Prostatic Cancer, your doctor will order blood test for PSA and prostatic exam. If there is family history of Prostatic Cancer, you need to talk to your doctor as soon as possible.
